How to play
- The classic rules. Get all 52 cards home — Ace to King, one home cell per suit. In the eight columns a card goes on the next-higher card of the other colour (a red 6 on a black 7). Any card can wait in one of the four free cells, and any card can start an empty column. You can move a whole run at once if your free cells and empty columns could have carried it one card at a time. Every deal has a number from 1 to 32000 — all but one can be won.
- The music. Every card is a note of the G major scale on a staff: red cards on the treble staff, black cards on the bass staff. The Ace is always G, then A, B, C, D, E, F#, and the 8 is G again — the King is E, up on a ledger line. So each home cell sings the G major scale as you build it. Four home cells, four voices: soprano ♥ and alto ♦ on the treble, tenor ♣ and bass ♠ on the bass.
- Ears · Read & place. A note appears on the stand. The cards show only their note names — find the card that plays the note on the stand and tap it. Treble lines and spaces, then the bass staff, then ledger lines, then sharps and the key signature, then a sprint against the clock.
- Who. Just me, against your best. Same device: everyone plays the same deal in turn. Online room: everyone races on the same deal.
